Macintosh Users Please Read:
If you are a Mac User,
please note that all of the recordings on the SOULSPEAK/Sarasota Poetry Theatre Institutional
Web Page (which you are about to enter and will recognize by the blue headline banner on the top of the page) require a correctly configured Mac version
of Windows Media Player or a correctly configured Mac version of Real Player
to play the recordings as they are not in a QuickTime compatible format. QuickTime
will not do the trick. If you have problems, we suggest you use a Windows
IBM PC to access and play the recordings.

Page, please be advised that any book, CD, or DVD falling under the
names SOULSPEAK or MANY VOICES

Web Page does not contain all of the recordings, books and videos,
and also because the MANY VOICES Home Page
allows you to purchase items at a lower price and also electronically with
a credit card. All items on the Institutional
Web Page must be ordered manually with a check and an order form suitable
for printing is available for that purpose.

What is SOULSPEAK?
SOULSPEAK is a simplified version of an ancient form of oral
poetry used by our earliest ancestors, long before we learned to read and
write.
SOULSPEAK allows anyone to express his or her emotions in a
beautiful, healing and human way. It is can be learned almost instantaneously,
by ANYONE.
SOULSPEAK consists of a simple story spontaneously spoken out to
rhythmic music in antiphonal (speaker/ responder) fashion. This inborn poetry
has the unique ability to tap into the collective unconscious, or group soul,
where we are always together.
SOULSPEAK is a very beautiful, healing form of
poetry. Most importantly, it is a part
of our human nature, much as our ability to gossip and joke are. It sounds
complicated, but we already know how to do it. It simply has to be reawakened.
